Bringing the past into the future: This innovative Seminar & Guided tour, now rescheduled to take place 26th November 2013 from 10am-4pm, examines the continuing relevance of WGC in designing and delivering new settlements in the UK - a current hot topic.
The Trust is very grateful to Denman International Ltd who have contributed a collection of material relating to the Denman Companies that were once located in WGC to the Trust's archive.

Looking into the history of the Shredded Wheat factory for our Where Do You Think We Worked? project we found that the company that built the grain silos for the Shredded Wheat factory is still going strong.
The Where Do You Think We Worked? project received an enthusiastic reception when it launched to the public on Saturday 20th July 2013 in the Howard Centre.
On 24th April Tony Skottowe gave a talk to a group arranged by the Loughton Festival & Herts & Essex Architectural Society - the Festival secretary/organiser having come across the Trust's website and decided to book a speaker.
The final design for the Trust's new logo was agreed a short while ago and you can see the result here. It will begin to appear from late July when our name officially changes to The Welwyn Garden City Heritage Trust.
The Trust will be launching its industry project on an unsuspecting public at the Howard Centre, Welwyn Garden City on Saturday 20th July.
