Photographing the town!

How do you see Welwyn Garden City today?

The Where Do You Think You Live? project is calling for residents to get involved in documenting the town.

Why not take a photograph of your favourite place in WGC or show us what you like or dislike about your neighbourhood.

Your efforts will be added to a digital archive that the Trust is creating so that future generations can view the town as it has grown and developed over the years.

We are holding a summer exhibition at Oaklands College in the last week of July (so there's plenty of time to get some camera action underway!) and are inviting residents to send us a single photograph or a photo-montage that fits one of two themes - "My Neighbourhood" or "My Favourite Place in WGC".

If you want to create a photo-montage from several images but don't have photo editing software we can help - so do get in touch.
