Welwyn Hatfield Heritage Fair

The second Welwyn Hatfield Heritage Fair was held at the Howard Centre on Saturday 14th September.

Dennis Lewis, one of the principal organisers, described it as 'a most successful venture'. It was very difficult to estimate the number of people who came to the event which opened at 11am, but Dennis estimated it at 400-500 over the five hours that the Fair was open. 'Certainly there was a lot of interest on the part of the members of the public who came to see us.'
