WGC Industry Exhibition 17-23 July 2014

The 'Where Do You Think We Worked?' project exhibition will take place in the Howard Centre, Welwyn Garden City from Thursday 17th to Wednesday 23rd July.

We shall be in what was the 'bookshop' unit on the first floor and will open from 10am - 5pm each day except Sunday which will be 11am - 5pm.

Do come along and view some of the material that the project has generated - listen to some of the oral histories, watch the Welwyn Studios Ltd documentary made by a team of Oaklands College students and see work produced by local schools taking part in the project.

Above and below are just two of a number of items relating to the Lincoln Electric Company that have been donated to the Trust archive during the industry project. Top is a picture of Lincoln Electric's Keep Fit Team. Below are long service award emblems - one for 10 years and the other for 25 years with the company.
