QEII Hospital - memories still welcome

The Trust supported a recent heritage project concerning the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, which has been part of Welwyn Hatfield for over 50 years.

A small group of people came together to record people’s memories of the original QEII hospital before this iconic building disappears from the town's skyline. Much of the material already gathered has been included in an exhibition at Mill Green Mill & Museum that runs until 15th November 2015. The exhibition also draws information from the recently published book "The QEII - A Hospital's Story" written by local historian and Trustee Angela Eserin.
